Spoločnosť Bahnhof AB sa rozhodla postaviť svoje nové serverhousingové centrum vo východnej časti švédskeho hlavného mesta Štokholm. Za miesto kde bude stáť ich nový serverhousing si netradične vybrali atómový kryt 30m pod zemou. Serverovňa Pionen Datacentre tak zvládne aj útok jadravou zbraňou.
Nové datacentrum chladí niekoľko stoviek chladiacich jednotiek Baltimore AirCool s výkonom 1.5mW. Pionen Datacentrum je napájané tromi nezávislými okruhmi elektrickej energie, v prípade výpadku zálohu tvoria motory z nemeckých ponoriek. Do serverovne vedú 3 nezávislé optické trasy. Toto dátové centrum je bez pochýb jedno z najlepších a najbezpečnejších dátových centier vo svete.
Projektanti dátových centier často zabúdajú na ľudí ktorý v priestoroch budú pracovať, v priestoroch Pionen nájdete rastliny, mach, obrovské akvárium s 2 600l slanej vody a vodopády.
Serverhousing v atómovych krytoch už začali robiť viaceré spoločnosti, napríklad Bunker hawaii alebo InfoBunker.
